DLBP secures planning permission for family home in South Downs National Park

DLBP achieved planning permission at appeal for a striking, new contemporary family house in Slindon in the South Downs National Park in April 2019.

This is a wonderful achievement from a planning and development perspective, given the duties of the National Park.

DLBP diligently managed the appeal process and presented a robust, compelling argument to overcome the National Park’s reasons for refusal, working hard to ensure the high quality design would contribute positively to the local area, reinforcing the character of the village.

The Planning Inspector concluded that the proposal would retain and respect the landscape character of the surrounding South Downs National Park area.

We are of course delighted to have achieved such a fantastic result for our client and their family.
