How we helped and added value:
Our client sought our advice on whether this site would be suitable for a permitted development conversion to residential. We assessed it and advised that it would be, but that there were a number of prior approval considerations that would need careful attention to minimise the prospects of the Council resisting it.

Our application included a robust level of detail on all of the relevant prior approval considerations. We demonstrated to the Council that our client’s site was not within the setting of the adjacent listed building, and negotiated with the Council on the appropriate level of information required to cover off potential noise impacts. The Council approved the application under delegated powers.
